NBA Commissioner Adam Silver outlined how the league will recognize LeBron James’ exceptional accomplishment, which is expected to happen as soon as the 2023 NBA All-Star break. According to Steve Aschburner of NBA.com, Silver stated that as James approaches Jabbar, his games will be broadcast more extensively, and if he breaks it before then, he will also be honored during All-Star Weekend.

LeBron James, arguably the greatest player to ever play basketball, is on the verge of surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to set a scoring record that has stood for what seems like forever under the name of the Los Angeles Lakers legend.
