Latest Kawhi Leonard injury update AWFUL news for Clippers
The latest update Kawhi Leonard's injury might get Clippers fans in serious worry ahead of Game 4 versus the Nets.

Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Dura
The Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns stand in the middle of a heated playoff series. The Suns are up 2-1 heading into Game 4 at the Clippers. With their stars ready to extend the lead, the Clippers’ supporting cast will do their all to not let that happen. Not only is there a lot on the line for the Clippers, but there are concerns around their star player, Kawhi Leonard.
Kawhi Leonard missed Game 3 due to a knee sprain which he suffered in Game 1. Clippers’ Russell Westbrook and Norman Powell stepped up in the last game but couldn’t hold off the Suns. Going into Game 4, the team is in a similar situation, as talks about Leonard’s injury continue.
The Clippers who are already playing without Paul George now have their star forward Kawhi Leonard’s return questionable. According to the latest reports, Kawhi’s return has no real dates set.
This leads to him not being able to play in Game 4 and possibly not in the games that will follow. This will be tough for the Clippers playing against a team with three of the elite scorers of the league on their roster.
Kawhi Leonard’s absence will have the team rely on others

Kawhi’s injury didn’t seem to be that serious heading into the second game. Though the severity increased which led him to sit out the last game. The same is the situation ahead of Game 4. A crucial game for the Clippers as they will look to avoid a 1-3 deficit.
While the Clippers have a chance to take this game, having a home-court advantage, puts pressure on the backup scorers. Russ has been doing a fantastic job so far in the series, if he continues to do so, the Clippers might as well end up winning the game.
With Game 4 to kick off early, it will be interesting to see what approach the Clippers take.
