Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves welcomed the Los Angeles Clippers to the Target Center, in Minneapolis for what was a thrilling game of basketball. The Timberwolves prevailed 109-105 which saw their star player, Edwards score 33 points, create six assists and even make nine rebounds.
The game was with its fair share of drama as the “Ant Man” was allegedly overheard trash-talking LA Clippers’ two-time NBA champion and star small forward, Kawhi Leonard.

It all began when Clippers players, both on the floor and on the bench, started mocking Rudy Gobert. Anthony Edwards, fueled by the banter, allegedly began taunting Kawhi Leonard as old and said,
Old n**ga Kawhi.
Guiding the Timberwolves to a crucial victory, Edwards put an end to the Clippers’ three-game winning streak and also secured his team’s second consecutive win. He showcased impressive accuracy, finishing the game with a 62.5% field goal percentage and also a 50% success rate from beyond the three-point line.

Paul George had 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists while James Harden contributed 14 points, one rebound, and eight assists. Next for the Timberwolves is a visit to the Little Caesars Arena to face the Detroit Pistons whereas the Clippers are to face the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Crypto.com Arena.
