LeBron James, one of the most dominant athletes in the history of sports, has a very expensive routine. Standing at 6’9 with 250 pounds of pure muscle, James spends over $1.5 million on his physique every year. James is truly the definition of longevity and versatility. 

At age 39, the King is competing against freakishly athletic youngsters, though still manages to match their level of agility.

Looking at all his attributes, Chael Sonnen, a former UFC star, made some serious comments against LeBron James. In a recent episode of the PBD Podcast, Sonnen was asked why he had certain hate towards James. While answering the question, Sonnen revealed that James and he had the same drug dealer.

And he and I have one thing in common. We use the same drug dealer to buy our EPO. And I don't see anything wrong with that. Like, there's performance enchaning drugs... And they'll come out and try to tell you those arre bad. Performance and enhancing are good terms. You can pin that on me all you want.

In the NBA, each player is subject to random drug tests. These go up to nine drug tests per season. While LeBron hasn’t confirmed these accusations, it is still surprising to hear such talks about the Lakers.

As for James, the last time his performance was in question about drugs was in the 2017–18 season. In the same season, James was drug tested 46 times and passed all of them. To see a 33-year-old carry a team to the top seemed truly suspicious to the association. 

LeBron James has never been banned for drug use

James has played in the league for over two decades. Though in all these years, James has never tested positive in any sort of drug test.

It is no doubt that LeBron James has never tested positive. After spending millions of dollars to maintain his physique, James doesn’t need any drugs to help enhance his on-court performance.

Last year, James stated that he was better than 90% of the players in the league. This implies that James is roughly among the top 40 active players. Even today, his words remain true. King James is currently 15th in the league when it comes to points per game. Easily the top 40 player in the league, James continues to entertain fans around the world.
