On Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers unveiled a 19-foot bronze statue outside their downtown arena in memory of the late great Kobe Bryant. Emotions were aroused by the homage, which struck a deep chord with Lakers’ supporters as well as the whole basketball community. Following the ceremony, the Lakers played the Nuggets, losing 106-114. Although LeBron James was disappointed with the outcome, there was one particular moment that got everyone’s attention.

James has already accomplished some amazing things on the court before. Moments like shooting a no-look three-pointer and creating amazing passes through the legs of competitors like Luka Doncic are among his most memorable moments in history.

Even so, the Lakers ultimately lost the game. They were deficient right from the start, and even though they tried to catch up in the second quarter, it was ineffective, and they fell behind.

Fans react to LeBron James’ unexpected pass to Anthony Davis

James sent the ball to Anthony Davis without even looking at his intended recipient, a play that went viral on the internet almost immediately. It was evidence of LeBron James’s skill as a tactician. After witnessing this miraculous pass from King James, fans were in awe. Although LeBron is certainly used to making passes of this nature, people always respond in shock, when he does.

In the latter minutes of the fourth quarter, Jokic and Jamal Murray scorched the Lakers once more, crushing any chance of a comeback. Murray scored 29 points. Even with LeBron James healthy, the Lakers’ goal seems to be a first-round playoff appearance. They will most likely need to go through the play-in round to qualify for the postseason, given their ailments.
