Since stepping onto the NBA court, LeBron James has known how to value and maintain his sanity in the face of media attention. He has not only managed to handle and carry himself graciously while all eyes are on him. In fact, he also knows how to answer doubters and trolls when being ridiculed. Out with a left lower foot injury, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar attended the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl match. Interestingly, many fans booed him when they saw him on the jumbotron. However, he had the perfect response.

The four-time NBA champion, who was attending the game with his wife, was shown on the big screen. A whirlwind of boos was launched toward the King as soon as he appeared on the screen at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Perhaps, fans forgot who they were booing. James made a gesture to the crowd as soon as he heard the booing. He placed an imaginary crown on his head, letting everyone know who The King is.

The 19-time All-Star previously stated that his 3-1 comeback win over the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals made him the greatest of all time. In fact, it appears that he has now entirely accepted it. He does not believe anyone is or has ever been better than him. Perhaps, it all happened after he broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record.

James has missed consecutive games as he remains sidelined with a foot injury. A further report will be provided on Monday when the Lakers play the Portland Trail Blazers.

The season’s trade deadline featured some of the most exciting trades in the last decade. The teams were not only ready to make their move, but several of them went above and beyond. All three superstars, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook, were traded to their respective new teams. The Westbrook deal also showed how much the Lakers needed that trade to mend things in Los Angeles. After adding Rui Hachimura, D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and another few players, the roster definitely looks much better now.

However, when it comes to winning the championship, the team does not appear to be equipped to compete with teams like the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Phoenix Suns. After trading for Durant, the Suns have suddenly become the title favorite.

James is 38 years old and plays with injury-prone Anthony Davis. Moreover, despite huge roster changes, the front office again failed to bring in good and defined shooters for the squad. Having shooters around James boosts his overall output on the court, which is when the Lakers have the best shot at the NBA silverware.
