Gilbert Arenas and LeBron James

LeBron James has been a part of many game-changing moments throughout his ongoing career. But one of the very first moments where he made headlines for smartly bagging the series came during the first round of the 2006 NBA playoffs. The Cleveland Cavaliers met the Washington Wizards and after a tough battle of six games got the dub. Gilbert Arenas even had a chance to force Game 7 but due to LeBron James, he had to walk away with an embarrassing loss.

Gilbert Arenas, recently during an interview of his with Vlad TV revealed how LeBron James clowned him and the Washington Wizards during the final seconds of Game 6. It all started with him revealing what King whispered in his ear before he missed both the game-winning free throws. Gibby revealing it said: “If you missed this you know who’s gonna make it.”

But that’s not the end and it has a pretty big background which LeBron James used to play a master mind game to win the series. Arenas further revealed how he was hanging out with Bron and some of the Cavaliers like Larry Hughes, and Damon Jones during the series. He also added how he was gambling with them at King’s penthouse.

Gilbert Arenas then went on to reveal how he owned Damon Jones during gambling for the past years. He also mentioned how he was treating Jones like a landlord does to a tenant who is yet to pay the rent. Jones’ gambling debt had him owing $35 to Gibby. But Agent Zero never accepted the payments so he can keep clowning him during their interactions both on and off the court. He was just bullying the life out of Jones during their matches.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were well aware of it. So they stopped playing Damon Jones for Games 4 and 5. But unexpectedly brought him back during the last seconds of Game 6 to make history and destroy the Washington Wizards. James pulled a big-brainer by whispering into Gibby’s ear and linking the outcome with Jones getting subbed in.

Gilbert Arenas in the same interview revealed how all his efforts throughout the Game 6 washed away. When LeBron James brought his tenant Damon Jones into the game. Revisiting the moment, Gibby quoted: “So I miss both the free throws. He is talking about Damon Jones like if you missed it Damon Jones is getting subbed in… So Damon Jones is sitting there like hell yeah. He’s talking sh*t like he is about to get the ball.”

Further, talking about the exact moment when he and the Wizards lost to an unexpected Damon Jones game-winner. Arenas added: “LeBron James not passing the ball to a dude who ain’t played two games, ain’t played this game, ain’t got a shot up no way. So we are leaning towards like LeBron because he has already hit 2 game-winners this series… Sure enough, (LeBron) dribbles to the left f***ing passed the ball to Damon Jones. Damon Jones hits the f***ing jumper.”

Arenas then also mentioned how since that moment his “tenant” has been owning him. James really used the playful beef of two years between them to win a series. But Jones deserves his credit for cashing in that game-winning jumper which got him rid of some bullying and debt of $35.
