Has LeBron James already decided the fate of Russell Westbrook with the Los Angeles Lakers? Surely NBA Fans seem like it, as both the purple and gold army stars were spotted during the team’s Summer League game wherein the young stars were in action. Safe to say the LA Lakers might be the most dysfunctional team in the modern-day league. From their front office to the team, the outpour of negative news cannot stop coming.
It has been seen often that stars of the same team sit together while attending Summer League games. But that wasn’t the case with LeBron James and Russell Westbrook who sat on either ends of the court. So, what is going on? We don’t know for sure. One thing we know is that Russell Westbrook and LeBron James did not seem to acknowledge each other.

Whereas some fans think this is natural. It should be noted that Russell Westbrook was seen as part of the coaching staff, while LeBron was seen speaking to Rob Pelinka and Darvin Ham. Perhaps they really had different responsibilities during the game. Or perhaps does this silent treatment from both ends, indicate a bigger story. Moreover, this particular behavior from the stars could be an indication of things to come. But don’t look too closely, the next thing you know they are working out together and both have shared it on their social media.
On the same note, there were reports of LeBron James ‘pressurizing’ the Lakers on landing Kyrie Irving anyhow in Hollywood before the start of the 2022-23 season. Given that the purple and gold army are the only team in the league who are chasing Uncle Drew so rigorously, KD’s departure could play a huge role in deciding the outcome of this trade as well.
Which players will witness playing alongside LeBron in the 2022-23 season? Will we witness the legendary of Irving and Bron? Or will Brodie be given a second chance to dawn the iconic jersey.
