The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has entered into his NBA career’s 21st season making him one of the oldest athletes to continue playing in the league. James who is 38 and is now about to turn 39, next month has left no stone unturned and has had a legendary career since his draft in the year 2003. In a surprising turn of events, James was confronted by the interesting fact that he is older than the Jazz’s head coach.
With the ongoing regular season, the Lakers went up against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night. Post the game, James had an interesting confrontation with the reporters when he was told that he played against a team whose head coach, Will Hardy is younger than James. It was more of like a hard pill to swallow for James when he was confronted with the fact that he is older than Jazz’s head coach.
James in the interview said:
I'm older than him? Wow! Oh my goodness! I'm not even mad. That's a good one. You got me on that one. That's crazy.
LeBron James since the start of the regular season has been dropping exceptional stats and has been the reason for the Lakers to be in the sixth position in the Western Conference standings.

James has been nothing but exceptional considering he has been averaging 26.4 points per game including 8.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists he may be on his way to scoring his 40,000 points in the further matches in the 2023-24 NBA season.
However, LeBron James isn’t able to comprehend his achievement of being the leading scorer in the NBA’s all-time scoring leaders. He said:
I got congratulated by my teammates and coaches, (but) I haven't had an opportunity to really wrap my head around what that means. There's been so many great players that came across this league since the beginning of time, and so many great scorers.
James shared that to achieve something that hasn’t been done historically in the league is pretty cool. He shares that it’s a wild moment and it is very exciting to be the first to achieve something like that.
