LeBron James, Michael Jordan would’ve got their “a** busted” guarding Jimmy Butler, claims Jrue Holiday
Jrue Holiday believes even LeBron James and Michael Jordan wouldn't have survived against Jimmy Butler in the Bucks-Heat series.

Jrue Holiday and the Milwaukee Bucks were knocked out of contention in the first round by the Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat. The Heat team eliminated them with a gentleman’s sweep as it took them 5 games to advance. Not many expected the Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday-led Milwaukee Bucks to end their season in the first round.
As they were the best team throughout the regular season and were favored to lift the title. But unfortunately, they weren’t facing any 8th seed in the first round. Instead, it was the legendary 8th seed team Miami Heat which has their leader Jimmy Butler balling out. And, now they have even reached the Eastern Conference Finals and are just one dub away from making it to the 2023 NBA Finals, as the Denver Nuggets wait on an opponent.
Jimmy Butler is completely responsible for all the success the Heat team has recorded this post-season. As he clowned the league by being an average star during the regular season. But as soon as the post-season started, he switched to his Playoff mode and became Playoff Jimmy, Himmy Butler, or whatever one likes to call him.
Unfortunately, his very first prey was Jrue Holiday. As the defensive guard gave out his best efforts to stop Jimmy Butler but nothing worked. And, Jimmy Butler is still in the run and balling out. He probably is the best player so far in the post-season. As he’s able to do anything and everything the franchise requires. And, even Jrue Holiday believes the same, as he claims that even the GOATs would have failed to stop him during the Bucks-Heat series.
Jrue Holiday claims Jimmy Butler would have clowned the GOATs during Bucks-Heat series

Jimmy Butler was really balling out against Jrue Holiday and the Milwaukee Bucks. He really was a man on a mission and even the stats back him. As during those.5 games he was averaging: 37.6 points on 59.7 percent shooting (44.4 percent from three), 6.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Recently, Jrue Holiday appeared on the podcast, “Sideline Stroll w/ Ros,” and there he gave Jimmy Butler his deserved flowers and even brought LeBron James and Michael Jordan into the conversation.
When Jrue Holiday was asked about the experience and the thing he’ll like to change now when guarding Jimmy Butler, he went on to quote: “It was fun. I played a game to go against the best players. I played defense to play against the best players… While I was in it, I was hot. I’m getting my a** busted. And, then he started talking sh*t… Jimmy is the ultimate competitor.”
Further, talking about doing anything different against Jimmy Butler, Jrue Holiday added: “I made those decisions in those moments and I stuck with them and I stuck with the guns. A lot of plays Jimmy made, there was nothing that I could do. There’s nothing that anybody could do. It didn’t matter if it was Brook on him, if it was LeBron James or Michael Jordan on him. It didn’t matter who was on him. Jimmy was playing at a different level.”
Honestly, Jrue Holiday isn’t wrong with his take. And, Jimmy Butler is still playing on a different level. So far in the post-season, he is averaging 29.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. Also, he has led the Heat to the Eastern Conference Finals single-handedly and now is just one win away from having a real shot at the NBA Title.
