LeBron James has recently been posting a few comments that have led some supporters to believe he is dissatisfied with the Los Angeles Lakers‘ management. After a turbulent 2021–22 season, James and his squad were predicted to have a better record this season. Many believed that the squad would perform better even though they didn’t make any significant offseason moves, but nothing has transpired as of yet.

True, they are performing better than they were, but in the Western Conference, they are still below .500. After Anthony Davis sustained an injury, the situation now appears to be worse. LeBron James appears to be frustrated with the team’s inaction and has been delivering messages to the management whenever and wherever he can as fans and people around the league suggest.

After Anthony Davis’ injury, he reportedly called out the front office, setting off concerns for each and every supporter. As if that weren’t enough, he has expressed his annoyances on social media while masking them with song lyrics.

The King posted a few anecdotes on Instagram along with some lyrics that aptly capture how he must be feeling in light of the current events involving his squad. He wrote, “I’m scratchin’ my head, I’m rubbin’ my chin, This ain’t the way it was supposed to be, supposedly, I’m close to an end, Don’t push me, I’m close to the edge, no rookie, B*tch, I’m a vet, show, some f*ckin’ respect!”. These are the lyrics from a song written by Ab-Soul.

Everyone is taking this seriously, and many fans responded to these lyrics by essentially agreeing that LeBron was criticizing the Lakers. And because of this every fan is now criticizing them for their slow response once AD went down.

The time LeBron James has used Twitter to send a statement out there. As via his personal handle, he wrote: “Fate whispers to the Warrior, You cannot survive the Storm.” The Warrior whispered back, “I am the Storm….”” He really is the storm and is ready to battle out there wearing a Lakers’ jersey. But again if the Hollywood-based team won’t back him up with good pieces all his efforts would just be washed. So him sending out such cryptic messages is understandable. This twe

et was probably for the front-office who is doubting him and bringing in real pieces by giving up some future and talent.

For King James, mysterious social media behavior is nothing new. During their first season together with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he notoriously subtweeted Kevin Love. James released an Instagram video of one of his dunks with an odd comment. This was because of the Los Angeles Lakers’ season-opening defeat to the Denver Nuggets. Which left them with an 0-4 record. “How long will you be taken for granted….. Keep going kid,” James wrote as the caption.

With this post, the focus was on whether James believes the Lakers are taking advantage of him. James, who will turn 38 on the 30th, is not able to play winning basketball. This was the first time since his rookie year that he has been a part of some unwanted losing records. As the 0-4 Lakers’ offensive rating (96.9), efficient field goal percentage (46.1%), and 3-point percentage (22.3%) were all among the lowest in the NBA. The team still is really struggling and needs major changes or improvements to book a playoff berth this season.
