LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are all over the NBA headlines. As they recently won against the Washington Wizards. It wasn’t just any regular season game. It was a complete rollercoaster ride with the final result being unpredictable till the last second. But fortunately, LeBron James and the Lakers got the job done after a bumpy ride that was full of struggles.
Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Washington Wizards at Crypto.com Arena. And, after struggling for quite a while against the 12th seeded Wizards of the eastern conference. The Lakers got the dub. The Wizards though now have lost 10 straight games. The Hollywood-based team is also ranked in the 12th spot in the eastern conference. But having LeBron James and other veterans just makes them better.
LeBron James in the game dropped 33 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Anthony Davis is out with an injury. But in his absence, Lonnie Walker and Thomas Bryant stepped up and contributed with 21 points and 16 points respectively. The rival stars also answered back as Kyle Kuzma and Bradley Beal were running the offense out there. The Lakers who were supposed to win it all easily had to get lucky to register a dub.
It was the defensive end of the Wizards who sold the game away to the Lakers. They allowed both Austin Reaves and LeBron James to get easy buckets in the paint during the final minutes. And, on the final game-winning play they left Thomas Bryant open when LeBron James almost lost the possession. But getting the ball back won the game with an assist. Kuz tried to win it all but he was rejected by the rim.
