The basketball community was shocked when news broke that LeBron James‘ oldest son, Bronny James, was admitted to a hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest while practicing with his USC Trojans. Everyone in the community has been praying for Bronny’s speedy recovery.

Bronny, a freshman at USC, experienced a cardiac arrest during a regular practice session, causing him to collapse on the floor. The Trojan facility quickly took him to the hospital and admitted him to the ICU. Bronny’s condition was reported as “stable,” and according to reports he was discharged from the hospital earlier today, spending less than 48 hours there, indicating his good condition. Another update from his father further strengthens the notion that things are returning to normalcy at the James household.

In a recent tweet, LeBron thanked all the fans for their prayers and love, assuring them that his family is “safe and healthy.” The Lakers superstar stated that he will keep everyone updated when he and his family are ready and expressed gratitude for the community’s support, which means a lot to him.

“I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers,” LeBron James wrote. “We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!” said LeBron.

This tweet came almost two days after Bronny’s health scare and suggests that Bronny is now in good health. Bronny, a 6’3″ two-way point guard for the USC Trojans, experienced a cardiac arrest while practicing for the team’s upcoming tour in Europe next month. There is hope for Bronny’s return to the court, but no one can be certain until the cause of his cardiac arrest is detected.
