NBA legend LeBron James is playing his 20th season. Many from the basketball world expected the king to slow down in his performance as he ages, but his latest block against the Clippers shows that he has aged like fine wine.

During the game, the legend had a sensational block, one of his career’s top defensive plays.  The ball was with the Clippers’ John Wall sprinting toward the basket. Everyone was running along with him, including the Lakers’ defense. Lakers’ Kendrick Nunn was trying to defend Wall, and the King was just behind the duo.

John attempted to shoot with one, which was beyond reach for Nunn but LeBron finished the business. Looking at that block, no one could ever say that LeBron is growing old. However, this wasn’t enough for the Lakers to get over the line as they faced their second successive defeat of the NBA season. As soon as a reel of the block went viral and fans went crazy and commented.

The Clippers came out as the best side in the Los Angeles derby, winning the match 103-97. For the Lakers, Anthony Davis scored 25 points despite a fall mid-match, while LeBron James had 20 points and 10 rebounds. Lonnie Walker scored 26 points in his Lakers home debut.  On the other hand, for the clippers, Kawhi Leonard had 14 points and seven rebounds in his first game in 16 months. Paul George scored 15 points, and John Wall added 15 to his Clippers debut.

Russell Westbrook looked completely off-color with his shooting. Lakers coach Darvin Ham said he briefly spoke to Westbrook about the guard’s claim that coming off the bench possibly contributed to his preseason hamstring injury because he didn’t know how to warm up properly for a reserve role after spending the previous 14 years as an NBA starter.

The nightmare shooting performances from Russell Westbrook (0 for 11) and fellow point guards Patrick Beverley (1 for 7) and Kendrick Nunn (0 for 7) in their Lakers home debuts. The Lakers went 9 for 45 on 3-pointers overall. These numbers look like a concern for the Lakers’ head coach.
