LeBron james scripts unthinkable heroics never seen before in the NBA

LeBron James

Age is just a number, and LeBron James is the living proof of it. Fewer athletes have ever done what LeBron does on a daily basis. His fight against Father Time is real and he is not backing down anytime soon. His heroic performance against the San Antonio Spurs is a testament to his greatness and proof that even at this age he can will his team to win.

The win against the Spurs was a must for the Los Angeles Lakers and just when everything seemed to go out of hand, vintage LeBron showed up. Not only did he start to bully defenders in the paint area like little kids in front of a freak train, he also started to rain three-pointers from downtown. The 37 years old was in no mood for the loss against the Spurs as he seemed to have decided to bully them everywhere. The Lakers scored a total of 143 points, the highest this season for the Hollywood-based team.

However, what James did in the game became a historic night for him. He became the oldest player in NBA history to record 35 points and 10 rebounds with 7 three-pointers. Moreover, he is also the youngest player to record 35 points and 10 rebounds with 7 three-pointers in the NBA. LeBron has played for a long time at such a high level in his life, that with every single game he seems to set a new record in the league.

This was Laker’s 5th win in their last 6 games. LeBron was coming off an injury which forced him to miss 5 games before returning to the lineup in their second face off. In the last few games LeBron was unable to find his rhythm in the game, which also raised many questions about his waning athleticism. James would look to get back into his old self in the next few games which for sure is going to give his rivals hard time on both ends of the court.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers register their 7th win of the season

The Los Angeles Lakers just recorded their 7th win of the season with two consecutive wins in the 2022-23 season. Given the kind of pressure the Lakers have to endure with the season going deep, it was a must-win for the Lakers. The next few games the Lakers play are against teams which are either 500 or +500, definitely not good news for them.

We gave up a ton in transition, we turned the ball over, couldn’t get a defensive rebound at times,” Lakers coach Darvin Ham said. “But again, when you’re able to score the ball, it covers up for a lot of mistakes.” LeBron James scored season high 39 points, 11 rebounds and dropped 7 three-pointers (matching his career high) for the Lakers.

He finished his game with 11 for 21 from the field. Other Laker players also showed up in absence of superstar Anthony Davis who was out with calf tightness. Dennis Schroder finished the game with 21 points, Lonnie Walker IV had 19 points, which also included 13 in the fourth quarter. Walker’s 13 points came at a crucial point when LeBron was resting on the bench and the Lakers needed someone to step-up so they can finish it well and end up on the winning end.
