“High schoolers can’t even hoop in peace now a days” LeBron James’ son Bronny rushes off court amid a gun scare during DeMatha-Sierra Canyon game
Bronny James
Bronny James recently experienced a gun scare as he was hooping in a high school basketball game in Washington DC, during the past weekend. The game was called off as everyone rushed out to save their lives due to the messed up situation. And, with how things are around it was really necessary as no one wants to get stuck in a mass shooting which unfortunately are still happening due to the sale of guns.
Bronny James is a future star and is set to follow in the footsteps of LeBron James and get into the league. Right now he isn’t listed as a top-draft pick but he has a lot of time to make those necessary improvements and earn himself that spot. Also, Bronny and LeBron James are set to become the first father-son duo in the league. As they have solid chances of balling out together on the same court and probably for the same team.
Bronny James and Sierra Canyon’s recent game against DeMatha was called off with two minutes remaining on the clock. And, DeMatha being up by one point against Bronny and his squad. But soon it was a chaotic situation and LeBron James’ eldest son was rushed off the court along with many other players and coaching staff as someone spotted a gun in the crowd.
As reported by TMZ Sports, fans in attendance got into an altercation and then someone thought a gun has been pulled out. And, when the word got out as someone yelled “Gun” Bronny and others left the court to be safe. The Cops though fortunately, didn’t locate any firearm after a thorough search and no injuries were reported.
Bronny James though addressed the shocking and unexpected incident via his Instagram handle. As he posted a story of a random street with cars and wrote: “high schoolers can’t even hoop in peace now a days.”
Bronny James joins Nike just like LeBron
Before the season took off for Bronny James he got himself a NIL deal with Nike. And, he did it exactly like his dad as he got it signed while being the same age as LeBron James was back in the days. The deal is a name, image and likeness endorsement deal it will help the young King to make space for himself in the market he’ll be stepping into in the future.
Bronny commenting about the deal with Nike quoted: “For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family, getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild — it means a lot to me.”
