Campbell Hall boys basketball coach Steve Tolbert, a 2005 graduate of the school, has announced his resignation after five years leading the team. He informed the players of his decision in a meeting and leaves with an overall record of 57-54, including 14-13 this season.
This news comes as a surprise to many, as Tolbert was a beloved figure within the Campbell Hall community. However, it is clear that he has other aspirations that he wants to pursue. As for the future of the Campbell Hall basketball program, it is unclear who will be stepping in to fill Tolbert’s shoes.
“I’m stepping down to focus on other goals I have for myself,” Tolbert said. “I am forever grateful for the opportunity to lead the program at my alma mater. I will always be a Viking and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
Bryce James Might be Switching Schools
In other news, rumors are swirling that Bryce James, the younger son of NBA superstar LeBron James, maybe switching schools. According to a report by the Los Angeles Daily News, Bryce has already submitted his application for the transfer.
The James family’s donation to the Campbell Hall ‘CH: Next’ campaign led to a new athletic administration wing named after Savannah and LeBron James. While the transfer rumors have not been confirmed yet, Savannah James, LeBron’s wife, may have confirmed them on her Instagram story.
Savannah shared emotional photos of Bryce and his older brother Bronny James on the basketball court together, which received comments from Shaqir O’Neal, Bronny, and Kiyan Anthony. While this story does not confirm anything, it strongly suggests that a new chapter is about to begin for both of her boys.
As for Bronny James, he has not yet decided where he will attend college. He has received offers from many universities, including USC, Ohio State, Michigan, and Oregon. It is unclear what he will decide, but USC seems like the most likely choice.
