Dallas Mavericks have been on an absolute ride of a 2023 season. And it’s all courtesy of the stars like Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. With both being a key aspect of their team, the Mavericks have been a force to reckon with this season.

But like every great player, there is always that moment of dip or disaster and Kyrie Irving recently had a similar moment. To the surprise of many, someone had already called it before the game had even begun.

Before the game even started, ex-NFL star Le’Veon Bell made a strange yet bold prediction before the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks game. But it wasn’t just a regular bet.

In a tweet, Bell said,

the Mavericks play tomorrow? .. now just watch, ima prove it to the world I can slow down Kyrie .. I’m betting the over, idc what the number is … lol.

And lo-and-behold, Kyrie had one of his “not the best” games, only scoring 12 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds as they went on to lose 110-127. To some’s astonishment of that weird yet near-enough accurate bet, some even went on to say on X that, “This Sh*t Is This Funniest Sh*t Ever… You Really Just Proved The Paradox True.”

Fans react to viral bet against Kyrie Irving

After the tweet of the bet went viral, fans were quick to react to it and were left shocked. And for the NBA fans, have been left speechless yet with a lot of emotions about the situation.

While the bet in itself was unexpected, the result was too. While that defeat meant the Mavericks have now lost 18 games, they still are in the competition for the title. But “will they?”, is the real question. Hope their answer is positive in the future.
