However, tonight against the San Antonio Spurs, he endured what many call, a bad night of shooting. Despite shooting abysmally from the floor, he still put up a triple-double. Fans were shocked by this feat.

All season long Luka Doncic has been averaging the best points per game of any player in the league. His assists and rebound numbers are also high enough to almost make it a triple-double season. Needless to say, the Slovenian superstar had an abysmal night of shooting by posting 22.2 % from the field. Despite that, he ended up with a triple-double. Basketball fans could not understand how he managed to achieve that despite shooting such a low percentage.

Normally, the Dallas Mavericks superstar attempts a lot of shots in a game. Tonight, he attempted 27. If he scored at his usual efficiency, he should have finished around his season average. But Doncic had to rely on his free throws to ensure that he finished with 18 points. It’s not as if the Spurs were defending all out. It was just a bad night for him.

Doncic kept his usual game plan intact of rebounding and passing out to his teammates to finish with a triple-double stat line of 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 16 assists. Thankfully, his focus on assisting his teammates led them to a win against the San Antonio Spurs with a scoreline of 113-107.
