Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic continues to shock basketball fans across the world. His latest showcase was against the newly crowned NBA In-Season Tournament champions, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Heading into this game, the Lakers were on a league-best 4 game-win streak. Doncic and the Mavericks did not have superstar Kyrie Irving to help out against the In-Season champs.

With 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the Lakers up by 2 points, Doncic drove to the basket with Jaxon Hayes defending him. Unable to complete the drive with the bigger Hayes guarding, Doncic throws a blind pass behind the back of Hayes to an open Dante Exum. Exum completed the mind-blowing move by downing the three-pointer.

Luka Doncic sparked a run after the assist to hold off the Los Angeles Lakers 127-125. Doncic played 43 minutes after the loss of Kyrie Irving to a bruised foot a few games back. He has been playing more than 40 minutes and putting up 30+ points in the last 3 games since Irving’s injury. Doncic finished with 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 17 assists.

LeBron James put up 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in the losing effort while playing a season-high 40 mins. Anthony Davis had 37 points and 11 rebounds to continue his In-Season Tournament finals form. However, their combined efforts were not enough to stop the Dallas Mavericks from winning.
