Although Golden State Warriors managed to equalize the 2022 NBA series 1-1 at Chase Center, yet all their marquee scorers haven’t been on their A-game yet. One of the most worrying concerns for Steve Kerr is the form of Klay Thompson as the latter has just managed to score a combined total of 26 points in the first two games vs Boston Celtics at home.
Now as the action of the NBA Finals returns to the TD Garden for the first time in 12 years, Lakers legend, Magic Johnson has delivered a challenge to Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins if the Warriors are to snatch crucial away wins. So did Johnson suggest? Take a look below at his tweet-

Can Klay Thompson return back to his best in Game 3 of NBA Finals?
“Klay Thompson did not shoot well at home. If the Warriors are to win in Boston, he must shoot better and the Warriors must figure out how to get Wiggins on track offensively,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Although there are many analysts and former players who are worried about Klay Thompson’s form. The splash brother seems to relatively be cool and composed even after the shooting slump in the first two games of the 2022 NBA Finals. He already has depicted his measure of watching Game 6 Klay clips on Youtube. Moreover, given the importance of Andrew Wiggins on either ends of the court, the All-Star could prove to be the X-Factor for Steve Kerr if he manages to score big numbers on the road.
That being said, with all of Celtics’ defense marking Stephen Curry throughout the four quarters, and Draymond Green be keenly kept on the edge, Thompson would need to deliver if he wants his team to finally take the upper hand in this crucial NBA series.
