“F****k You, I’m back now” Marcus Smart asserts his return on Heat with a filthy Stephen Curry-like 3-pointer

Marcus Smart
Marcus Smart after missing Game 1 of the eastern conference finals due to a right foot injury against the Miami Heat was back to upset them in Game 2. His and Al Horford’s absence in Game 1 made the road easy for the Heat as they dominated their way to win it. But now the series is tied at 1-1 as the Boston Celtics bounced back with the DPOY being back in the business as a game-changer. Everybody knew it would be hard to score on Marcus Smart but not many expected him scoring against the Heat. He didn’t only ran the defensive end of the Celtics but also ran the offensive one as their primary guard assisting his teammates, playmaking, and scoring himself. He also shut downed the offensive rally of the Miami Heat by slowing down Jimmy Butler.
The Boston Celtics were hosted by Miami Heat at FTX Arena for Game 2 of the eastern conference finals. It was a very important game for both the teams as the Heat wanted to clinch both the home games and the Celtics wanted to even it and that’s what they did with Marcus Smart running from coast to coast and getting the job done on both the ends as he was also heated up while shooting the ball and making jumpers. The game was unexpectedly not closely contested and head to head as the Celtics took control over the game and the score at halftime was 70-45 favoring Boston. The final box score stands at 102-127 favoring the Celtics, a 25 points embarrassing blowout loss for the Heat. Marcus Smart gets the most credits for the dub as he was the guy doing it all and stepping up for his team.

Marcus Smart backing up Jayson Tatum (27 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds), and Jaylen Brown (24 points, 3 assists, and 8 rebounds) dropped 24 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds, 1 block and 3 steals. He even made it to the headlines for swishing a three-pointer from downtown just like Stephen Curry as he showcased his great footwork in that contested shot too and had Dewayne Dedmon lost.
