Given that Nets vs Celtics could be one of the most exciting seven-game series, no one can surely spot a winner.

Kyrie Irving is known to dominate the scoring charts and has always been successful in haunting the Celtics. On the other hand, Smart is currently having one of the best seasons in his career on the defensive end. He surely will be focus upon guarding the 2016 NBA Champ.

According to Celtics beat reporter Mark Murphy, Smart is in awe of what Irving can do with the ball in his hands. Via Twitter, the Boston Herald reporter said, “He’s truly a magician with the ball. He has a lot of what you call last minute moves. You think you’ve guarded him, and he always finds a way to get out of whatever type of situation he’s in.”

Given the dynamics of their respective position, Smart will be tasked with defending against Kyrie Irving, and that promises to be an interesting matchup. Smart is one of the favorites to win the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year, which shows how much of a juggernaut he is on that end of the floor.
