Instead, the reason this time is very pure as he stood against bullying and is making all the possible efforts to help a kid who got brutally bullied at school by his peers. Marcus Smart has really won a lot of hearts by reaching out to the kid after the unfortunate incident that happened to him.
And, sadly no one stood against it but rather clipped it in a video which is now viral all over the internet. It all started on Thursday when a video of Javier getting bullied by his peers at Arvin High School in California took over the internet. Javier is a special needs kid who was bullied by his peers as they shaved his head forcefully and left him crying.
The viral video also mentions how the security stood right there laughing and did absolutely nothing. The school has responded with a statement and has assured to take disciplinary actions against the ones involved. But honestly, that doesn’t fix things for Javier as that particular experience will stay with him throughout his life. So guys like Marcus Smart and Micah Parsons are trying to make the situation a little better for him.
As Micah Parsons brought the incident to light by sharing it and asking fans for Javier’s contact as retweeting the video he wrote: “Can someone find him for me?” And, soon he was joined by Celtics’ guard Marcus Smart. As the DPOY jumped in and offered a helping hand to make life better for Javier.
Marcus Smart retweeting to Parsons wrote: “I’ll jump in Micah! Does anyone have Javier’s contact info ? Don’t post his personal info here but email YGCHOOPS@GMAIL.COM on how to get in touch w him or his family and we’ll get the celtics and puma to send a little something his way. We got his back.”
Marcus Smart really has got his back and these efforts from his side will surely bring a bright smile on Javier’s face. Smart has always been a real one but not many know this since he’s the most hated player on social media with 41.03% negative comments as reported by NBA Central. But after these efforts of his things may change now. As not many go out of their way to help others these days.
