Mark Cuban and Andre Iguodala took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the bad officiating in the Lakers vs Mavericks game, and it was nothing short of hilarious. Cuban, the outspoken owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and Iguodala, a former NBA champion, traded a few friendly and sarcastic tweets about the game’s officials. The two had some fun with the situation and provided a nice break from the seriousness of the game. Read on to see what Cuban and Iguodala had to say about the poor officiating.

The officiating in the recent Lakers vs Mavericks game was certainly questionable, with both teams missing out on calls from the referees. Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, expressed his frustration on Twitter with a tweet that read: “Worst officiated game. Luka gets no respect. Unreal.” Andre Iguodala, who played for the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat before coming back to Golden State, responded to Cuban’s tweet with one of his own: “$100M dollar fine.” Cuban then light-heartedly quipped back, “Should I have grabbed the ball and tossed it into the stands too ???.”

Mark Cuban was referencing Iguodala’s recent ejection from a game against the Phoenix Suns. The veteran got ejected for a seemingly innocuous incident where he just threw the ball into the stands after a made basket from the Suns. Iggy also got fined $25,000 for the incident.

The Warriors went on to lose the game against the Suns whereas the Luka Doncic led Mavericks were able to overcome the bad officiating to eventually win out after double overtime against the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers.

The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks went to overtime on Wednesday night. Neither the Lakers nor the Mavs were pleased with the outcome of the game. LeBron James said after the game: “That’s a f—ing foul!” referring to a play where it looked like Troy Brown Jr. was fouled late in the fourth quarter. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban also weighed in on the officiating, tweeting: “Stan Van Gundy is absolutely right. Worst officiated game. Luka gets no respect. Unreal.”

Referee Josh Tiven then issued a statement regarding the controversial play involving Doncic and Troy Brown Jr. He said: “Hardaway Jr. gets a piece of the ball on the closeout and then does make some high five contact, which is legal and that play was correctly no called.” It was definitely one of the most physical games of the regular season and its outcome seemed to be heavily influenced by the officiating.
