“I salute him for even getting in a ring” Matt Barnes regards Nate Robinson as a laughing stock after boxing-match loss
Matt Barnes and Nate Robinson
Former NBA player Matt Barnes recently talked in an interview about a famous boxing bout between YouTuber Jake Paul and former NBA player Nate Robinson. Matt told everyone about how the fight ended. Matt also talked about boxing being a sport that should be played with proper precautions and technique.
Matt Barnes said, “Nate’s a good dude. Like I said, I played with Nate, real good friends with him, “I salute him for even getting in the ring. Like I said, this boxing s**t is no joke, but he’ll never live that situation down, which is tough.” He added, “You know, from little kids to grown-ups, it’s always going to be a laugh for people. I’m just like, ‘Damn, was it worth it?” Nate Robinson lost badly to the YouTuber, and the former player was mocked and people made much fun of him.
When Matt was asked whether he would take up boxing, he replied, “I really don’t dislike anybody, you know what I mean? …me and [Derek] Fisher are straight, so there’s nobody for me to really like turn my anger up to it at this point.” Jake Paul didn’t need time to defeat Nate Robinson, and he was severely hurt as he remained unconscious for quite some time. This boxing bout was watched by many on the internet.

Matt Barnes suggests that Ime Udoka’s NBA career may have ended
At first, NBA player Matt Barnes was seen defending Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka since his scandal came to light. But recently, Matt commented on how Ime Udoka’s NBA career might end. The former NBA player was talking to Vlad TV, stating, “Like I heard, it’s not about what he did, I guess it’s about who he did it with. This is not something that’s, you know, only in the NBA. It happens in the workplace all around. It’s not so much the act.”
He added, “Boston will figure out a way, but you know if everything comes out he’ll be lucky if he coaches in the NBA again, to be honest with you. … I think it’s pretty heavy, man. It’s just some stuff you can’t do … Not judging, to each his own I’ve made plenty of mistakes, but if everything comes out it could get extra hot in the kitchen for him.”
