“I took that personally” Michael Jordan had “3000 reasons” why he should have been ’86-’87 MVP

The heart of Michael Jordan was as fierce as a lion and braver anything ever. He is arguably the most talent player to have ever stepped onto NBA soil. The GOAT had a mindset that almost crushed his opponents with only a simple stare and this helped him achieve milestones within a matter of 15 seasons.

During his career, MJ was known for his incredible offensive dominance and for his defensive schemes as well. He won several accolades inclusive of six NBA titles, six MVPs, multiple All-NBA and All-Star selections as well as scoring titles and defensive titles. He was the center of the Chicago Bulls dynasty on the 90s.
Michael Jordan gets snubbed from winning Most Valuable Player of the Year

It is a rare occurance to find talents who are gifted scorers. The most recent person to average 30 points per game was LeBron James, who happens to be the Hall Of Fame Bulls guard’s rival in the GOAT debate. Michael Jordan was that gifted specimen who averages a career total of 30.1 points per game.
During the 1986-87 Season, he recorded a stat only one other person had done, that is score 3000 points in a season. Despite his hard efforts, Mike wad not given the MVP award that season instead it was bestowed to Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson. The other player was none other that Wilt Chamberlain, who score 3000+ points thrice and not winning the MVP during either of those seasons. He finishes with 4029 points during the 61′-62′ season.

Michael Jordan dominated the league during his career. Of course, as many players have been today as well, MJ fell victim to several snubs during his career. In the “The Last Dance” documentary series, your Airness would highlight such instances with the phrase ,“I took it personally.”
