Michael Jordan, we all know him as the greatest basketball player of all time. The dominance he brought to the sport of basketball was incredible and his works with the league were impeccable. He was a big change to the league and was the center of attraction from the 80s through the 90s until he retired in 2003.
The former Chicago Bulls guard was a true force if nature. He averaged 30.1 points throughout his NBA career and was a dominant defensive player as well. Besides his talent, Jordan instilled fear in the minds of his opponents. Over the years, his former rivals have all spoken of the way he would get into their minds and play tricks to push them off track, and yes, it included a lot of trash talking.
Michael Jordan becomes a star during the NCAA days
The 6″6 shooting guard first attending college at the University of North Carolina. He only attended college as a junior before declaring his name for the NBA draft. During his freshmen year, he establishing his winning nature early on and was named the ACC Freshman of the Year. He averaged 13.4 points per game that season.
By the time Michael Jordan reached his second year with North Carolina, he was very dominant on the court which caught the eye of recruiters. He helped them win the NCAA championship in 1982 averaging 17.7 points and 5 rebounds per game. MJ had already made the All-American team twice by the time he declared for the draft.

Michael Jordan proves why NBA was wrong for drafting him third overall
Michael Jordan appeared for the 1984 NBA draft that featured a few great players besides himself. The Chicago Bulls had selected him third overall which was a shocker for someone of his caliber. Hakeem Olajuwon, the greatest center of all time and Sam Bowie had been drafted before him.
During his rookie year, he left everybody’s jaw dropping after averaging insane numbers. He put up 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists as well as 2.4 steals per game which led him to win the rookie of the year award. Jordan had an insane vertical jump and dominated at 6″6 with ease which astonished fans. This won him six titles, five NBA Most Valuable Player of the Year Awards and several other accolades.
