Michael Jordan would FAIL to carry Lakers like LeBron James did to WCF, claims Michael Irvin
Michael Jordan would fail to carry the Lakers as LeBron James did to the Western Conference Finals, according to Michael Irvin.

One of the biggest surprises of last season was the resurgence of the Los Angeles Lakers as they powered their way through the competition to make it to the Western Conference Finals after making significant trades at the trade deadline. The Lakers added role players like Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell to pair up with Lebron James and Anthony Davis, which helped them make a run to the WCF.
During his debut on “Undisputed,” Michael Irvin came out with a take where he said that what LeBron did last season, leading the Lakers to a WCF appearance after starting the season 2-10 and also suffering from a foot injury, could not be replicated by Michael Jordan. “What LeBron did last year, Michael Jordan couldn’t do, period. He couldn’t take a late group, bring ’em together, and take that group…to go on a run like that [to the Western Conference Finals].“
James and Davis had two bad years after winning the championship in 2020, as they signed Russell Westbrook and traded away many of their young players who helped them win the championship. But after the moves last season, it took a load off James and Davis, allowing them to not do everything on both sides of the court and keep themselves healthy for the playoffs.

What does the future hold for LeBron James?
LeBron James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists last season and made the All-NBA team for the 19th consecutive time during his 20th year in the league. James will be going into his 21st season this upcoming season. He could be the only player ever to average over seven points per game because all of the players who played in their 21st season were far from their primes, while James is making All-NBA teams.
He will also be in the last year of his Lakers deal with a player option next season. With Bronny James being cleared to play basketball again after suffering a cardiac arrest recently, it would mean that James will want to play with his son. This would imply that he might play his final season with any team that drafts Bronny. The following season might be the last season of James in a Lakers jersey and also the final chance of him winning a championship, as he continues to miss more and more games each season due to his age.
