Michael Jordan and his daughter

Jasmine Jordan, Michael Jordan‘s daughter, may not have known when she was younger that he was among the all-time best basketball players. The legend of the Chicago Bulls achieved unparalleled fame and legacy as a result of his dominance on the court. ‘His Airness’ came up during a time when the NBA desperately needed a spark and radically transformed the sport of basketball. Watching the ESPN documentary “The Last Dance” has helped Jordan’s daughter understand more about her father’s legendary basketball career. She even revealed that when she was younger, she Googled her father to figure out why he was so well-known.

Michael Jordan’s influence extended beyond the world of hoops, though. He gave the world a completely new concept of superstardom with his tyrannical reign and  Jordan continues to show no indications of giving up his crown. His ability to maintain his status as one of sports’ most well-known characters is nothing short of astounding. When Jasmine’s father played in his final NBA game, she was just 10 years old and had only been born in 1992. It seems sense that she Googled him at the time as you can’t completely understand what your parents do for a career at that age.

Michael Jordan’s daughter, Jasmine Jordan, claims that when she was a little girl, she was apparently clueless of her father’s prominence in the basketball world. Jasmine Jordan spoke with The Associated Press about his legacy and growing up as his child. She said during the interview that: “I had kids and teachers and stuff at school telling me ‘it’s incredible your father is who he is, so I did, I googled him, and I found a lot, clearly.” She continued by thanking her father for helping her and her siblings feel comfortable and grow up normally while he ruled the world of basketball.

Jasmine was just six years old when Michael finished his second career three-peat and ended his remarkable career with the Chicago Bulls. Jasmine was born in 1992. She got the chance to fully comprehend her father’s influence on the world around him for the first time when she was 27 years old thanks to “The Last Dance.” After the documentary’s finale, Jasmine Jordan said she had that talk with her father, which turned out to be a hilarious narrative for the Jordans.
