Marcus Jordan, the son of the NBA great Michael Jordan, finally gets the approval of his father and said that his family is absolutely fine with his ongoing relationship with his new girlfriend Larsa Pippen.
Recently a viral clip of Michael Jordan floated around on the internet where the Chicago Bulls legend responded with,” No,” when he was asked to give his validation of his son’s relationship with his new girlfriend. Jordan’s answer sparked discussions online since Marcus was supposedly dating his father’s former friend and teammate Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife.
However, Marcus debunked all rumors about Jordan’s standing with the whole relationship in a joint interview with People and Entertainment Tonight. In the interview, Marcus said that his sweetheart had already got the “Michael Jordan stamp of approval.” The two announced their relatiosnship back in January during Michael Jordan’s jersey event but the two have been together for longer.
As per Marcus, the Jordan family is supportive of their relationship even with the massive age gap between the two as Larsa just turned 49 years old. The couple had already met the male side of the family during last year’s Thanksgiving and things seem to click right with them, “My family likes her … They think she’s great and ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy,” Marcus said in the interview.
Larsa is already a mother of four children, with her son Scotty Pippen Jr. already playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the couple looks immovable and is planning to take their relationship even further.

Marcus Jordan, surprisingly, seems to have bonded together with Larsa’s kids as the pair talks about it on their new podcast Separation Anxiety.
Larsa said, “They love him and I feel like we talk about the same things. So when I’m talking to my older son Scotty about basketball, Marcus is in on the conversation. … when I’m talking to my son Preston about fashion, Marcus has a clothing store, so he chimes in. It is just an easy fit for our family.”
Scotty and Marcus have an age gap of 10 years between them but the two seemed to have meshed well as they find common ground in the NBA, a field both parties are familiar with. To add to it Marcus also owns The Trophy Room, a boutique store known for selling rare and limited Air Jordans giving the 32-year-old a way to bond with Scotty’s brother Preston who is well into fashion.
Scotty is currently playing in the NBA Summer League as part of the Los Angeles Lakers squad after finishing an impressive season with the South Bay Lakers in the G-League. Scotty hasn’t signed any contract and the 22-year-old is looking to notch a two-way contract with the Lakes before the season starts.
