“I love you but I’m gonna kill that mofo” Mike Tyson reigned in his anger on Dennis Rodman after being slapped

As the two spent some downtime in Las Vegas years ago, Dennis Rodman has revealed how he set up one of his party mates to receive a smack from Mike Tyson. The legendary basketball player was speaking on Tyson’s podcast to describe the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Who is Dennis Rodman?
Despite the fact that he may have gained more notoriety for his achievements off the court than on it, Dennis Rodman will always be remembered as a superb rebounder. The 6’7″ man known as “The Worm” exceeded expectations for a player his size by being selected to the NBA All-Defensive Team seven times and winning the Defensive Player of the Year Award twice. He held the league record for the most consecutive seasons with the most rebounds per game from 1991 to 1998 while also being the best rebounder in the NBA. He may be the greatest rebounding forward in NBA history. He played for the Lakers and Mavericks in his final seasons and produced a number of incredible rebounding performances.
Dennis Rodman enthusiastically backed Michael Jordan and the Bulls because he didn’t want to play offensive basketball. When Rodman arrived in Chicago, the Bulls’ squad included Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and coach Phil Jackson. They achieved a 72-10 overall record in the 1995–96 campaign, the first year of their second “three-peat.” He won two championships with the Detroit Pistons before joining the Bulls. He and his group were known as the “Bad Boys” due to their tendency to mentally influence his opponents before the game. Rodman was more than just a great rebounder because of his extraordinary awareness and fundamental knowledge of the game; whenever he was on the floor, most opponents had to deal with him.
The time when Mike Tyson almost killed Rodman’s friend
Dennis Rodman once remembered an amusing shopping incident he had with Mike Tyson. One of the finest and most well-known boxers of all time, Tyson enjoyed living a high-profile life. Tyson had amassed a sizable fortune from his possession of a tiger and extravagant clothing purchases. One day Rodman ran into him at Caesar’s Palace and made the decision to go along. Rodman accompanied his buddy to the Versace store where Tyson was purchasing a suit. Something really intriguing occurred when the two were getting their outfits made.
For some reason, when Rodman brought his friend, he felt the urge to speak with Tyson, so he went up to say hey and introduce himself. He also appeared to jokingly slap Tyson in the face at the same moment. Rodman narrates the incident stating: “Mike turns around and my friend slaps him in the face not hard but more light. Mike came straight to me and says, ‘Dennis, I love you to death but I am gonna kill that motherf***er!’ I was like he’s drunk. He said ‘ok, he ever do that sh*t again I’m going to f*ck this motherf***er up and I was like, ‘be my guest I don’t care.’”
Dennis Rodman’s flamboyant attitude, wide variety of tattoos and piercings, and regular hair color changes were all reasons why many thought he was strange. Rodman’s lifestyle didn’t just revolve around being sought by attractive women, and it hasn’t really changed after he quit playing. Even married guys started acting strangely around Dennis Rodman because he was such a superstar back then. It just serves to demonstrate Rodman’s illustrious reputation, both on and off the court. We will never stop being impressed by the things Rodman accomplished because he was a reasonably mature character, no matter how many stories we hear about him.
