Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson the splash brothers are back in the NBA Finals after two years of disappointment because of injuries and are out for revenge. But Game 1 didn’t go well for them as they unexpectedly fell on the losing end after being favored to win it all for three straight quarters. As the Jayson Tatum-led Boston Celtics came back stronger in the fourth quarter and changed the whole game by upsetting the Warriors as they got the dub. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were nothing but helpless and speechless spectating the Celtics steal it all from them as they too sold the game away. In the loss at the home arena (first loss in the postseason) with Dub Nation in attendance, the duo registered a moment showcasing their chemistry and trust in each other and have been in the headlines since then.
The Golden State Warriors hosted the Boston Celtics at Chase Center for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. It was a very important game as both the teams wanted the early lead in the series and as a result, it was closely contested and head to head. But the first three quarters had the Warriors winning the game. But that just didn’t age well as the shooting greats of Al Horford and other Boston Celtics’ stars in the fourth quarter got them the dub. The Celtics made a 12 points comeback and ran a 17-0 run against the helpless and speechless Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors in the last quarter of the game. The final box score stands at 108-120 favoring the Boston Celtics. The Celtics also outscored the Warriors by 24 points (40-16) in the final quarter and made history. Not many expected the Celtics to win over the Warriors in Game 1 but it is what it is and now they lead the Finals by 1-0.
In the game, Stephen Curry ran the offensive end and dropped 34 points (21 points in the first quarter itself), 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. He was backed up by the other splash brother Klay Thompson who got himself 15 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds. A clip of Chef showcasing the ultimate trust on Klay stands viral all over the internet and has them trending as many believe they’ll bounce back and win their fourth championship together.

But didn’t run towards the rim to get a rebound as he was confident enough to trust his best mate to not miss it and that’s what happened as it was a swish. As both of them are the best shooters in the league.
