Russell Westbrook is all over the NBA headlines as according to many fans around he had an impactless game where he failed the team. But according to Brodie, he did what should have been done and played “SOLID” out there. In the recent Battle of L.A, the Lakers fell short against the Clippers and now have lost control over the city. Many are blaming Russell Westbrook for the loss but the story is very different from the former MVP’s end.
LeBron James just like last season carried the team on his back. As suiting up for 37 minutes he had 20 points, 6 assists, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks. He was backed up by Anthony Davis who dropped 25 points and got 8 rebounds even Lonnie Walker got 26 points. But it was Russell Westbrook who failed the team on the offensive end, as he has a terrible shooting night.
Russell Westbrook’s contributions were limited to only 2 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Brodie lived up to the tag of “Westbrick” as he attempted 11 shots from the field and 6 from downtown but made none of those. But he was effective on the defensive end as he locked up the rivals and got 5 important steals too. But that doesn’t mean he had a solid game.
Even LeBron James backed him up during the post-game interview. But now it’s a completely changed story. As Russell Westbrook made a poker face and replying to the question of self-assessing his game said: “Solid…solid played hard… That’s all you can ask for. Moving on to the next one.” This reply from him really has the fans going against him as they criticize, troll and clown him on the internet.

Fans really can’t believe Russell Westbrook gave a small smile and said that. So they are making sure it never happens again. As they are going all out on him and making sure he’s forced to improve and takes the business down there seriously. As many around know, he’s capable of carrying the team across single-handedly.
