NBA Rising Stars: Up and Coming Players Worth Keeping an Eye On

NBA Rising Stars
The NBA Rising Stars Challenge in February was a great chance for fans to get a good look at some of the best new talents in the NBA. Young bloods usually go head to head in a pickup game but the 2022 challenge saw a slightly different format. Teams of seven competed in single-elimination games in a three-game tournament. The teams were made up of 12 rookies (the new bloods that everyone is watching), 12 sophomore players, and four NBA G League Ignite players.
If you like to dabble in a little online sportsbook betting, you’ve come to the right place; this is our list of fresh NBA talent who are seen as the Rising Stars Challenge that we think are going to be the ones to bet on in the coming seasons. Let’s take a look at the list of top 10 NBA Rising Stars.

1. LaMelo Ball (Charlotte Hornets)

Starting the list of Top 10 NBA Rising stars, comes a player who have sent shock waves all around the basketball world. In a relatively short time, Ball has shown that he has the talent to maintain his position as one of the best players in the current league. The way that Ball sees the game, plans and executes his passes, and understands the space on the court elevates the game and his team’s entire performance. There’s no way this young player is going anywhere but up.
2. Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves)

After LaMelo comes, Edwards in the NBA Rising Stars list. This young guard strikes on that hardwood like a bolt from the blue. As a wing, he’s completely unstoppable and he never looks like he’s tired or even out of breath. There’s more to a great player than just raw talent: Edwards is a charismatic representative of the Timberwolves and the fans are already in love with him.
3. Evan Mobley (Cleveland Cavaliers)

It’s been years since the Cavaliers or the NBA, in general, have been a rookie play defense like Evan Mobley does. The strength of his plays, his speed in lateral moves, and his unparalleled instincts combine to make him a real threat on the court. Mobley is set to join the ranks of the NBA all-time greats.

4. Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons)

There are worse ways to begin your career than starting out as a number one pick. Since his ankle injury, Cunningham has been as good as ever and we don’t think there’s long to wait before he becomes a Sunday starter in the All-Star games.
5. Scottie Barnes (Toronto Raptors)

An all-rounder is a wonderful thing to be, but only if every aspect of your playing is as good as the other. For Scottie Barnes, this really is the case. His scoring, defense, and rebounding skills are at a remarkably high caliber for a player of his age and he’s only just begun. The future is bright for Barnes.
6. Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers)
Haliburton spent his first season (and then some) trading off ball-handling with De’Aaron Fox, this up-and-comer has made the move to the Indiana Pacers and it seems to have been the right choice. You can almost see the wheels turning when this crafty player plans out his movements. He thinks before he moves and rarely makes a misstep.
7. Josh Giddey (Oklahoma City Thunder)

Giddey was truly a pleasant surprise. As the youngest player in NBA history to ever have recorded a triple-double night after night this powerhouse player gets more comfortable, every time he faces off against another player. They should be warned to watch their backs.
8. Jalen Green (Houston Rockets)

Green really came out strong. In only his third game of the season, he showed off his scoring abilities to the tune of eight threes and thirty points. His speed and jumps make him an offensive master, but the consistency he needs just isn’t there yet. It’s clear that a player of this caliber just needs time to settle into his skills and we’ll see that consistency before long.
9. Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers)

Maxey grabbed his chance right out of the gate and has quickly become one of the most crucial players in the 76ers’ current lineup. Maxey takes charge of the court and sets the pace of his games. He creates room for his teammates to get involved and facilitates a flawless machine.
10. Desmond Bane of the Memphis Grizzlies

Untouchable is the word here, this Grizzlies guard not only completes the list of NBA Risings Stars but also adds swagger in it. Bane is just too good, we believe he is one of the most talented rookie players in the NBA for the last few years. He’s the Grizzlies’ second-best player and it might not be long before he’s the best.
