Jusuf Nurkic is all over the NBA headlines as in the recent match-up between the Portland Trailblazers and the Denver Nuggets he clowned the two-time reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. Not many expected the game to be dominated by the Blazers but Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic took care of the business and made sure the Blazers end it on the fortunate winning end.
The Denver Nuggets were nothing but speechless watching the Blazers take over and go to work. Damian Lillard (31 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds) controlled the offensive end while he was backed up by the rising star Anfernee Simons (29 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds). Jusuf Nurkic took care of the post while playing some solid defense. He also came up big on the rebounding count and made all possible efforts to have the possession alive.
Jusuf Nurkic contributed with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. He also locked up the rival superstar, Nikola Jokic who looked helpless against him. Joker had a great impact but was limited to only 9 points, 9 assists and 9 rebounds. Nurkic played a great and important role in the Blazers’ 135-110 victory against the Nuggets.
