“0 Middle Fingers” NBC Sports Boston heavily trolls Kyrie Irving after Celtics secure Game 2 via late surge

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving has been on a roller-coaster since the start of the season. His decision of remaining unvaccinated had him ruled out from the league due to the vaccine mandate. But the losing record of the Brooklyn Nets made the team bring him back as a part-time player for away games. Now Uncle Drew is back as a full-time player even at the Barclays Center since the New York City has lifted up the vaccine mandate. The Brooklyn Nets under the leadership of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving winning the play-in tournament have made it to the first round of the playoffs. They are going all in and against of the Jayson Tatum-led Boston Celtics in the first round but are falling short again and again.

Jayson Tatum single-handedly closed the Game 1 on the Brooklyn Nets with a game-winning buzzer-beating lay-up. The Boston Celtics hosted the Brooklyn Nets again at TD Garden for Game 2. It was an important match-up for both the ends and also a closely contested and head-to-head one. But soon the offensive end led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown with everyone on board took over and got the Celtics another dub. The final box score stands at 114-107 favoring the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics now lead the series by 2-0 and have a great shot to advance but you never know what’s next when you suit up against Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

Kyrie Irving in the game dropped 10 points, 1 assist, and 8 rebounds a complete bad day for the all-star duo. As even Kevin Durant was limited to 27 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. In Game 1 Kyrie Irving talked the trash back to the hecklers and got fined $50,000 as he was all over the internet for flashing his middle fingers to the crowd. It all continued in Game 2 as well but this time Uncle Drew was silent and NBC Sports Boston not leaving the opportunity fired a wild troll at him.

In the game, Kyrie Irving was seen telling the fans that he won’t talk back because it made him lose a lot of money and he can’t keep on doing that. The NBC Boston then taking advantage of it in the post-game interview brought up a graphic of Kyrie Irving’s performance where they also added: “0 middle fingers” and “As far as we know” in it. In moments it was all over the internet as it is a troll on the most criticized and trolled player of the season.

NBC Boston has done it many times before during the season. It all started with Russell Westbrook then Joel Embiid and now even Kyrie Irving has made it to the list of getting clowned by them. The Celtics now hold the higher grounds in their clash with the Brooklyn Nets. But still, it is not all over yet as the Nets will be hosting the Boston Celtics for Game 3 at the Barclays Center with home-court advantage.
