Sports radio host, and TV personality, Nick Wright believes LeBron James and Stephen Curry deserve better players around them in the final stages of their careers.

Steph Curry and LeBron James undoubtedly have their own era of basketball. The two superstars have gone back and forth multiple times at the peak of their powers to entertain the fans and uphold the competition in the NBA organization. However, both, Curry and James are 34 and 37 respectively. It is only right that they finish off their careers at a high.

Nick Wright believes the teams around stars like Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and LeBron should be better. “It is a damn shame that you have Steph Curry, one of the greatest players ever, still clearly in his prime and the team stinks. Kevin Durant, one of the greatest players ever, at the tail end of his prime, and the team stinks,” said Wright on the “What’s Wright with Nick Wright” show.

LeBron James, clearly not in his prime but far and away than any player has ever been this deep into his career,” added Wright. The radio host believes all three, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Los Angeles Lakers are “awful”.

Nick Wright also goes on to say that James is the greatest player ever while Steph and KD belong to the top 15 and top 20 players of all time respectively. Wright is stunned that several amazing performances from these superstars at their age are going in vain owing to their poor teams.

It is really surprising to see how the Golden State Warriors are performing despite coming off a championship-winning season. While the rest of the roster continues to put on underwhelming performances, Curry still is competing with the best in the league to be the best player so far in the regular season. The four-time NBA winner is averaging 32.8 in the league this year.

Curry’s team on the other hand, however, is 6-9 with a very underwhelming run for someone who was considered the favorite at the beginning of the season. The GSW star is coming off a 50-point game in a defeat to the Phoenix Suns yesterday. Safe to say the Warriors’ run this season has been a one-man show.

James on the other hand is not at the peak of his powers. However, is still one of the best at the age of 37. James’ Lakers are 3-10 this season. King James is averaging 24.9 points this season while the Lakers still depend heavily on his brilliance.
