Nick Wright is back in the NBA headlines as once again he’s going against the Warriors and not riding with them. He has been a doubter throughout the series but was riding with them to win it all this time as at many moments he hinted how the Dubs are the better one and can improve more. But now it’s a changed story as he feels the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors won’t be winning anytime soon. Nick Wright can be right with it but again that’s the Chef and he knows how to get the job done and so does the team. As just two years ago they were the worst in the league but now are back with their Dynasty days and shining bright as the champions.
The Golden State Warriors though will surely be facing some roster problems next season as they won’t be able to have everyone around the team happy. Especially, the young guns like Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole who are now capable of getting a bag as even they mentioned about it in their IG Live during the championship celebrations. But that’s not how things work as they’ll also look into the market, draft some new talent and try getting back Kevon Looney who got the job done. All these can cause some roster issues but the players are surely good and smart enough to compromise to stay on the winning end. Nick Wright may have noticed their cap space struggles and got this out from there but the front office of the Dubs shouldn’t be underestimated as they’ll try their best to set up another dynasty.
Nick Wright believes the road wasn’t that tough this year as what it can be in the coming seasons. He also praised and appreciated the Dubs for their greats but his reasoning for them not repeating or even winning anytime soon was also good. He made sense while mentioning how they never faced elimination but were just good enough to keep advancing as they won the west and the finals too.

Nick Wright discussing the odds for next season’s favorite mentioned how Vegas has Warriors winning it all next year too and how he’s not buying any of it. As he quoted: “I don’t think the Warriors win another title anytime soon, I just don’t. I’m gonna say something else, you win a title, it lasts forever. It always counts, there is no asterisk none of that, I didn’t think that team was this great. They just won the title and never faced elimination. I didn’t think they were that great so who should be the favorites? The damn Milwaukee Bucks obviously should be the favorites… Their chances of repeating are slim to none.”
Nick Wright has just made one of the boldest claims against the Dubs probably he forgot what the Dub Nation did to Charles Barkley. But again that’s a wild bet from his side where nothing can be said or claimed until the next season ends with or without the Warriors lifting the title. Many believe they will but again we shouldn’t forget how many teams in the west this year had their man down and were also out of form. So a battle worth watching will be expected as soon as the league is back.
