After exiting from the 2022 NBA playoffs, Nikola Jokic returned to his home country Serbia. This NBA athlete loves trying different things in life and has been a fan of horse riding and river rafting. Jokic loves relaxing during the summer, and he uses his summer vacation for fun and training. After winning back-to-back MVP titles, instead of playing in world-cup qualifiers, Jokic returned to his native Serbia, where he’s been having some fun. Very recently he was seen dancing shirtless with his brothers, friends, and fans.
Besides Serbia, Jokic has also visited Bosnia and Herzegovina this summer. He rafted throughout the day, but Jokic partied hard in the camp at night. Jokic performed the so-called “kolo” dance, a popular circle dance in the Balkans.

International star Nikola Jokic was drafted late in the 2nd round in the 2014 NBA draft due to his mostly unknown status to US Fans. But Denver Nuggets kept their faith in the talented youngster. He won back-to-back regular-season MVP Awards with the franchise but never made it to NBA Finals. He averaged around 20 points per season for the Nuggets, with 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game production.
Despite the Denver Nuggets’ lack of postseason success, Jokic is one of the best players in the league. Last season, he averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game earning him the 2nd MVP award. These incredible performances have earned him a supermax contract extension worth $264 million. In the largest deal in NBA history, the Nuggets will pay Jokic $60 million in the final year of his contract.
