Last night saw some very special moments during the unveiling of Kobe Bryant‘s statue. It took place with the trade deadline coming closer, and a rather interesting matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets. As expected, the game didn’t disappoint anyone, and things remained intriguing with a flash move from Nikola Jokic.

In their 114-106 win against the Los Angeles Lakers, it was a rather dominating performance from the visitors. But despite the brilliant display from the usual superstars, it was a flash-like no-look pass by Nikola Jokic on Austin Reaves that caught the eyes of the fans.

Nikola Jokic, who almost neared yet another triple-double by getting 24 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers, had a show of his own. But it was a quick behind-the-back assist to Justin Holiday, that was the highlight of the game. And sure did the fans go wild on the internet after the clip cropped up.

While the victory in itself was a big moment for the Nuggets, they now extend their win record to 36 which puts them 2nd in the Western Conference. This would mean a lot for the title charge with the pressure of defending the glory they experienced last season. While it is a huge task on their hands, with the calmness and suaveness of players like Nikola Jokic, things are bound to feel safer.
