The Boston Celtics have been the best team in the league this season with their scintillating performances and have been the favorites to win the league. However, not everyone believes that, as Norris Cole made this known as a guest on Udonis Haslem’s The OG’s Show.

The former Miami Heat player was of the opinion that despite what the bookmakers or pundits were saying, the Boston Celtics would lose to either the Miami Heat or the Milwaukee Bucks. Furthermore, his belief is based on the fact that the Bucks have closers in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. In contrast, the Heat has the experience of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and their coach, Jimmy Spoelstra, to bank on.

I would have to say Milwaukee or Miami is who I would pick. In a series, I believe Giannis and Dame are closers, and they can use up a lot of fouls. And Jimmy, Bam, and Spo, nobody has more experience than him.

The Boston Celtics, led by their magnificent duo of Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown, are expected to be crowned champions but have a history of faltering when it matters the most. If that happens, it’d be a total bottle job and would just make them one of the biggest bottlers in the history of the NBA.

However, Norris Cole and the other doubters do not have a crystal ball to tell if that would happen. We believe they have what it takes to see it through this time, except if you have Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets standing in their path.

Celtics’ Jayson Tatum reveals what cost them against the Miami Heat in last season’s ECF

When they met in last season’s Eastern Conference Finals, Jayson Tatum shared what he believed cost his team against the Miami Heat. He made this known during a recent post-game press conference. He revealed that his team took a lot of things for granted in their desperation to get back to another final after losing the previous one devastatingly to the Golden State Warriors.

I think last year we were so antsy to get back to the Finals… we may have took some things for granted. This year, we have done a really good job. Not skipping steps and respecting every game every day, just trying to get better.

Furthermore, it has begun to look like “bad juju” for the C’s in their quest to hoist championship number 18 as they’ve faced disappointments over the last two seasons despite having solid regular-season outings. Despite initially struggling to let go of the losses and the feeling of misery that comes with it, Tatum doesn’t feel like giving up in his quest to lift his first NBA title.

The Celtics, having already qualified for the post-season, are at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with a league-best record of 59-16. They host the Western Conference number two seed, the Oklahoma City Thunder next.
