Friends to foe and then friends again seems like a beautiful storyline for a movie. Except this isn’t a movie, and the characters are Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. The Oklahoma City Thunder teammates seem to be rekindling their friendship on the court. This reunion has happened at the most interesting time with the duo facing off against each other in the playoffs. The playoff between LA Clippers and Phoenix Suns housed several heated moments and then this interaction between these stars.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were seen chatting with each other during one of the Suns’ 46 free throws on the night of Game 3. Yes, the Phoenix Suns managed to draw 46 free throws against rival Clippers, but that isn’t the point. Fans were more than happy to see Westbrook and Durant having a friendly conversation than the game itself. Russ was spotted saying something to Durant while the latter was taking a free throw. Durant seemed to listen, and then replied, “I don’t want no problems, gangsta.”

The Phoenix Suns won Game 3 against the LA Clippers, extending their lead to 2-1. The Clippers have now suffered their second straight defeat, this time, in the absence of their star player Kawhi Leonard. “The Claw” Leonard’s absence from the game was a big reason for the team to worry, as suggested by HC Tye Lue. Leonard’s availability for Game 4 and even the series is still under question. Ambiguity looms as the Clippers now fear defeat in almost a “do-or-die” situation for the team in Game 4.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers 129-124 on Thursday night in Game 3 of the Western Conference playoff series. Devin Booker scored 45 points, while Kevin Durant added 28. The absence of Kawhi Leonard due to a sprained knee affected the Clippers, who have already been missing Paul George since March.

Despite the heroics of Norman Powell, who scored a career playoff-high 42 points, and Russell Westbrook, who added 30 points and 11 assists, the Clippers couldn’t keep up with the Suns.

Booker was the star of the game, scoring 18 for 29 and having seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. He also credited Durant for his ability to get to the basket. He said that a lot of his buckets came from Durant opening up the court for him. The Clippers will look to even the series in Game 4 on Saturday.
