There was a funny moment during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s last game, and it was caught on camera which ultimately stirred some hilarious reactions on social media. Oklahoma’s mascot Rumble, ‘The Bison’ spammed the live feed recorded by sideline reporter Brooke Olzendam. Her scary reaction set everyone present in the stadium laughing and also the social media.
The Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Portland Trailblazers. During the game, sideline reporter Brooke Olzendam was preparing to go live on camera. Rumble the Bison got right behind her and stood still as one of those scary images that feel like someone staring at you. Brooke had no idea about Rumble standing, which scared her to death. Indeed, he faced one of the worst spooking from the mischievous mascot.
Rumble, the mascot, was all excited and pumped up as his team, the Thunders, ended up winning the match 123-121. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 35 points and the winning basket to take his team over the line. Thunder’s young star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander nailed a shot just before the buzzer giving Oklahoma City a 123-121 victory. Shai finished the game with 35 points. On the other hand, Portland’s Damian Lillard moved past Clyde Drexler to become the Portland Trail Blazers’ all-time leading scorer with a free throw in the third quarter. He finished the game with 28 points.
Lillard now has scored 18,048 points in 11 seasons donning the Blazers jersey. Drexler had scored 18,040 points for the Blazers from 1983 to 1995 period.
Portland Trail Blazers have recorded seventeen wins and fourteen losses this season. In contrast, Oklahoma City has recorded thirteen wins and eighteen losses this season, a team with one of the worst records in the Western Conference. Portland shot 50% from the field and 43.2% on 3-pointers.
The City Thunder shot 45.5% from the field as Gilgeous-Alexander led them to hit 32 of 37 free throws, while the Blazers only shot 17 of 21. This was a much-needed win for the inconsistent Thunder, as they desperately needed some wins to keep their hopes of making it to the NBA Finals. Both teams are set to clash against each other in their next game, and it will be interesting to see who prevails at the top.
