Kyrie Irving has made his way back to the NBA headlines. As recently, former NBA player Olden Polynice revealed how Uncle Drew is responsible for the downfall of the Brooklyn Nets. As the oldhead claimed it was the comments by the Nets’ guard for head coach Steve Nash which ruined multiple relationships between the team and burnt many bridges. Kyrie Irving also hates the head coach and general manager Sean Marks of the team and wants them out of the system as reported by a close source earlier. But him taking such big steps and calling the coach out wasn’t expected by many around.

The information revealed by Olden Polynice is really ranked higher than the Kevin Durant situation where he gave the owner and the organization an ultimatum. As recently, Olden Polynice appeared on “The Odd Couple” podcast and threw out the stunning story of Kyrie Irving not respecting the former two-time MVP head coach to the media and fans. On the podcast talking about the situation right now and blaming Kyrie Irving for it, the former NBA player quoted: “One of the reasons why there are issues between him [Nash] and Kyrie Irving was because of a statement he made during a party at Steve Nash’s house. In front of everybody, Kyrie said, ‘You need to give those MVP trophies back to Kobe [Bryant] because you didn’t deserve them.’ To me, that was the beginning of the end for the Nets.”

Honestly, Kyrie Irving isn’t wrong as Kobe Bryant really got robbed for two straight years and many other stars too were on the list. Kobe Bryant had a lot better season than Steve Nash but him not getting a deep run to the playoffs just sold the award to the point guard. It happened during the struggling times of Los Angeles Lakers when Shaquille O’Neal had just left them and they were trying their best to get up and be champions again. But saying such things while being a professional to a professional who plays an important role in the system is straightaway wrong and senseless. So Uncle Drew is at fault here and now we know why he hates the management and wanted out of the Nets earlier.

Can Kyrie Irving lead the Brooklyn Nets to a championship run?

Kyrie Irving at least for the coming season is all locked in with the Brooklyn Nets. Even though they didn’t give him the max extension and he had to opt in with the player option. His duo with Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons backing them up with the rest of the supporting cast is undoubtedly a championship roster. So them making a lot of noise this season can be expected and they also have a real shot at winning it all this year. As for most of the star players especially the Big Three of the team things are quite personal now. But for them to end up on the fortunate winning end it’s necessary that Kyrie Irving is available, committed and has great chemistry with everyone present in the system and most importantly the Head Coach Steve Nash.
