Los Angeles Lakers newest recruit Patrick Beverley got back at sports analyst Skip Bayless because he feels that things still don’t seem to be good going between Patrick and his Lakers counter-part Russell Westbrook. Recently, many photos of Patrick and Russell laughing and chit-chatting went viral from the Lakers practice camp. The fans from the NBA world were happy to see these too getting along and might be wondering why does Skip feels they are still rivals.

Skip Bayless tweeted saying, “PatBev will do everything in his professional power to make it work with Russ. But – despite the show Westbrook put on today as PatBev was introduced to the media – he will once again PB’s worst enemy if PB starts taking Russ’ minutes. Russ is about Russ, not winning.” When Patrick came to know about Skip’s statement, he responded, “Naw Skip I have a good feeling about this.”

Beverley seemed confident that he and Westbrook are getting along to work together as teammates. There aren’t too many people out there who believe this to be true, and Skip Bayless is definitely one of them. Westbrook on the other hand, has offered full support for Beverley during his first interview as a Laker by handing his new teammate a towel while he was sweating.

The kind of bromance brewing between new teammates and Los Angeles Lakers stars Patrick Beverley, and Russell Westbrook is something to watch out for. It has left NBA fans, former players, and sports analysts wondering how these could even get back together and this soon. Many photos of the duo went viral during the Laker’s practice sessions as they were seen having light moments now and then. As everyone knows, Russell also passed a towel to a sweaty Patrick, and the latter seems to have appreciated this gesture. Looking at all these things makes one think that the duo has pushed far away their beef history and is getting along for the team’s benefit. Los Angeles Lakers are scheduled to play defending champions Golden State Warriors in their opening game on October 18th  in the upcoming 2022-2023 NBA league season.
