“Don’t know if I’m in the NEW MEDIA…haven’t punched anyone” Patrick Beverley goes full thug in taking a shot at Draymond Green breaking his team

NBA and Los Angeles Lakers star player Patrick Beverley called out Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green for his actions like punching his teammate. Green and his teammate Jordan Poole ended up in a brawl during the practice session. Patrick was talking about this incident in the latest episode of, ‘The Patrick Beverley Podcast with Rone.’

Patrick Beverley was asked, “Do you feel like you’re part of the new media?” Pat replied, “Idk, I’m not out here punching people.” No one would have expected someone of Draymond Green’s caliber to get involved in such an incident. Green faced much criticism for the same; hence, he was away from the group for some time while the rest of the squad continued playing the pre-season games.

Head coach Steve Kerr told reporters on Tuesday night that a week after punching teammate Jordan Poole during practice, Warriors forward Draymond Green has been fined by the team for his actions. How much fine has been imposed on him is not yet made open. The All-Star forward will not face a suspension and is expected to return to practice on Thursday.

Draymond Green called Jordan Poole a ‘Bitch’ which escalated the fight

 During a practice session, Jordan Poole called a couple of fouls on Draymond Green, and Green responded by calling him a ‘bitch.’ It is reported that this conversation between the two might have ignited the fight between the duo. Apparently, Poole is nearing an extension with the Golden State Warriors. On the other hand, Green, who has been part of the Warriors’ core for all four NBA championships but is aging past the point of being a dominant player, does not appear to have made any decision.

Earlier, Warriors GM Bob Myers said, “These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens, Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room. … As far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally.” As mentioned above, Draymond Green has been fined for his behavior and will not be suspended.
