“Lakers don’t have their pick lol” Paul Pierce gets TRASHED by fans after attempting to throw shade at 18-time NBA champions

Paul Pierce and the Lakers
The Lakers are 0-4 down already in the season and after their latest loss to the Nuggets, NBA legend Paul Pierce trolled the former champions for their current form in the season, not only Pierce but people, in general, have made fun of the squad too. In their game against the Nuggets, Russell Westbrook was made to sit out as a result of an injury and was the perfect chance for the Lakers to prove that it was he who was actually the problem.
However, that wasn’t the case as the Lakers threw away the game and lost 110-99 to the Nuggets, it wasn’t a closely contested game either. “Lakers think they slic. They wanna pair Bron up with Wembanyama next year,” Pierce tweeted and was trolled by the fans. Despite their dismal record this year, the Lakers are unable to pick him. This is due to the Pelicans’ ownership of the option to trade first-round choices with the Lakers in the next draft.
In a vacuum, Pierce’s viewpoint should be taken into account. Wembanyama, a 7-foot-3, 209-pound 18-year-old Frenchman, is regarded as one of the top NBA draught prospects ever. The Lakers appear to be willing to go to any lengths to keep James, who is committed to the Purple and Gold through the 2024–25 season, happy. Theoretically, Wembanyama could make LA a contender not just for the rest of the James era but also for years to come.
LeBron James blamed for Lakers’ poor performance after latest loss

Last night’s game between the LA Lakers and the Nuggets didn’t go well for them. They played mediocre defense as Nikola Jokic came close to a 30-point, 10-assist, triple-double. The defending MVP led Denver to victory with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jamal Murray each scored 13 points, but KCP was forced to exit the game due to what seemed to be a left leg injury.
Despite having trouble hitting his shots, LeBron James still managed to lead Los Angeles with 19 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists. He struggled to find his strength as he made only 2 of his 8 three-point attempts. James also committed the most team-high eight turnovers by turning the ball over. Although Anthony Davis played really well, it appeared like he injured his back throughout the game.
