Luka Doncic is a bonafide superstar. But he does not appreciate heckling from fans. In today’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Doncic got a Suns fan kicked out of the arena. This led to basketball fans trolling the Slovenian for ruining a fan’s night for the comment.

Doncic was going up against his arch-rival Devin Booker and the Suns. The Dallas Mavericks superstar had a good game in terms of production. But then the Suns stormed the Mavericks in the third quarter and swung the game in their favor.

Doncic, having to take on the offensive load without superstar teammate Kyrie Irving, was struggling to get the Mavericks back on track. That is when a Suns fan called out Doncic by saying this;

This led Doncic to approach Mavericks’ security, before making them kick the fan out of the arena. The Suns fan wearing a Booker jersey was seen leaving the arena in a later video.

Doncic was frustrated at the fan’s constant heckling throughout the game. He acknowledged that despite the fan having paid for the tickets, it was getting on his nerves. This was his explanation during the post-game press conference. Basketball fans were not appreciative of Doncic’s antics. It seems that the Mavericks throwing the game away despite leading in the first half was one of the reasons for his frustrations.

The Mavericks superstar could not do anything about the Suns and their domination in the 3rd quarter. Even though he managed to finish the game with 34 points, a lack of production from his teammates resulted in the loss. The Suns on the other hand were led by Doncic’s rival Booker, who finished with 46 points to get the upper hand in their 132-109 win. The Suns have won 7 in a row now.

Fans are not happy as Doncic takes out frustrations on a fan

However the game went, Doncic took out his frustrations on the fan. Especially after the player effectively confessed his annoyance at the situation. This did not sit well with basketball fans. Unless the fan was directing insults at Doncic, he should have kept his cool, according to most people.

Whatever might be the situation, fans have voiced their opinions. Doncic could get the fan kicked out as the incident occurred in Dallas. If it unfolded in Phoenix, he would have to endure heckling from many more opposing fans.
