Uncle Drew, who is observing the Ramadan fast and played for 48 minutes against the Nuggets, added to how special and spectacular the game-winner was.

The Nuggets were hoping the game would go to overtime after Doncic had tied the game with a deep three-point shot. In a post-game interview, he highlighted the importance of his faith and the essence of staying connected to God.

It's a difficult journey and to be able to play 48 minutes and not do it with having a drink or any food in my stomach is nothing short of a miracle. So there's definitely a universal God out there that's protecting me and I got to give credit to him.

LeBron James and Damian Lillard react to Kyrie Irving’s moment of magic

Kyrie Irving won the game for the Dallas Mavericks against the Denver Nuggets despite observing the Muslim Ramadan fast. As a result, two of the best shooters in the NBA, LeBron James and Damian Lillard, reacted to the special moment on the popular social media platform, X.

Milwaukee Bucks’ Lillard had first reacted, calling Irving “the most skilled mf ever.” A comment that former teammate LeBron James, who played together with Irving at the Cleveland Cavaliers, concurred with.

The win was huge for the Mavs who are hoping to climb out of the play-in places while staving off the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Mavs currently sit 8th with a record of 39-29 and are level on points with the Phoenix Suns.
